Executive search firm Toft Group has placed Charlene Knape as Vice President, Clinical Affairs for Kiyatec, Inc. in Greenville, SC.
Ms. Knape is a clinical operations executive with many years of industry experience, primarily within diagnostics and medical devices. She recently served as Senior Director, Clinical Development for Inivata, a privately-held company developing liquid biopsy assays analyzing cancer genomics. Prior to this, Ms. Knape worked for Becton Dickinson in their Diagnostic BioSpecimen Solutions group. In this role, she was responsible for sourcing rare samples including TB+ sputum, breast cancer, and cervical cancer from local sources and developing countries to support internal R&D development programs. Previously, Ms. Knape worked with Micell Technologies, LabCorp, EndoTex Interventional Systems, Avocet Medical and Somnus Medical Technologies. Ms. Knape holds an M.T. degree in medical laboratory sciences from Michener Applied Health Sciences in Toronto.
